Mrs. Amanda Culberson

Amanda Bell Culberson, a dedicated educator with 19 years of expertise, is thrilled to join the RIS family as an assistant principal. Mrs. Culberson brings a wealth of knowledge to our team, having spent eight years teaching Business Education at New Hope High School and Lee High School and eleven years as an assistant principal at Buckhorn Middle School.

A Huntsville native, she holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Samford University, a Master’s of Education in Secondary Education from Alabama A&M University, and a Master’s of Science in Instructional Leadership from Samford University.

Beyond her professional achievements, Mrs. Culberson is deeply rooted in the community, where she enjoys volunteering at her church, traveling, and spending time with her husband, Ben, and her two stepsons, as well as her extended family.
